Are You Experiencing…

  • Do you struggle with anxiety? What is the worst part of your anxiety? Lack of sleep? Last minute cancellations with friends? Bad days at work? Inability to get out of bed or drive?

I can give you some evidence based practices that can help you reduce the frequency of anxiety and the intensity of anxiety. With some dedication and hard work you may be able to eliminate anxiety all together! But at the very least, reduce it enough to a tolerable level.

  • Have you experienced a traumatic event? Do you want to explore what triggers you have so they don’t cause sudden panic? Working together, we can explore traumatic triggers and learn new safe coping. By using the curriculum, Seeking Safety, we can explore how substances and/ or trauma impact healthy coping, and how to get back to a place of healthy coping. Whether a curriculum is your style or just unpacking your week to learn better coping, we can work together to find peace.

  • Are you grieving a loss? Whether it’s due to death or some other reason we go through stages of grieving. Do you need help working through your grief in an individual setting or a group setting? I use evidence based practices to help process grief by using the creative part of your brain. In session, you will learn about the grieving process, new ways of coping, and using narrative therapy and art to work through processing the grief.

  • Do you struggle with codependency? Have you heard this term and wondered what it means? Codependency is a misunderstood term that actually means the opposite of what it sounds like. A codependent person is someone who is strong, independent, reliable, loyal, and the person you go to for answers. Unfortunately, these traits can become unhealthy. The person starts to control and micromanage their loved one. By learning how to set boundaries and healthy detachment, we can begin to have strong equitable relationships.

  • Do you want to explore your relationship with alcohol? Do you already know you have a problematic relationship with alcohol and need help with goals, accountability, and education? Or are you just curious about what it would feel like to stop drinking? There is a new trend called sober curious where one explores their relationship with alcohol. Are you ready to find more energy, peace, and relief? Whether it’s in an individual session or in a relapse prevention class, I’ll help you discover yourself.
