Individual Therapy

Individual counseling is a personalized, one-on-one process where you can explore personal challenges, improve mental health, and achieve your goals. This confidential space allows you to address issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, or life transitions. Through tailored approaches, Catherine uses methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness, or solution-focused strategies, so you gain deeper self-awareness, develop coping skills, and build resilience. Individual counseling provides support, guidance, and tools to help you lead more fulfilling, balanced, and an empowered life.

Group Therapy

Group therapy is a supportive and collaborative form of counseling where individuals come together to share experiences and work toward personal growth. In this safe and confidential setting, participants address common challenges such as grief, shame, trauma, or recovery management, while benefiting from the shared insights and encouragement of others. Group therapy fosters a sense of connection, reduces feelings of isolation, and helps participants develop new perspectives and coping skills. By learning from and with others, individuals gain tools to navigate life’s challenges and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

  • This is an evidenced based therapy group which works through the stages of grief whether its from a loss due to death or any other reason. This model is based in CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) principles and teaches how to change thinking, which influences emotions, and behaviors. This is a 16 session group which meets once or twice week depending on the cohort.

  • SAMHSA's curriculum focuses on equipping individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to maintain their recovery from substance use disorders. The program emphasizes the importance of group support, fostering a sense of community among participants as they share experiences and strategies. Through interactive discussions, role-playing, and practical exercises, members learn to identify triggers, develop coping mechanisms, and create personalized relapse prevention plans. The curriculum encourages open dialogue and collaboration, helping individuals build resilience and accountability in their recovery journey. By reinforcing healthy coping strategies and providing a supportive environment, the group aims to empower participants to navigate challenges and sustain long-term sobriety.

Catherine guides the group to explore patterns of behavior and examines underlying emotions such as guilt, fear, or low self-worth. The shared experience fosters a sense of community and accountability, helping participants realize they are not alone and empowering them to take steps toward greater emotional independence.
